There is nothing in the history of Clark County here in Nevada that can rival the story of Cliven Bundy. The so-called welfare cowboy has been stealing from the general public for years and it is still going on today. Bundy has turned cattle loose on BLM land for years to graze free of charge to Bundy and they have now become feral (wild) animals to be harvested at the will of Cliven Bundy. Armed Marshalls came to Bundy’s home town of Bunkerville, NV to rescue the cattle and they were turned away by Bundy's family members and right wing militia groups coming in from all over the US. The feds backed down rather than risk injury to both the militia and federal marshalls. One local wag in a letter to the editor suggested that everyone in the area should get a couple of cows and turn them loose on the neighboring BLM land and harvest them each fall to sell or eat - just like Bundy. “If it’s OK for Bundy, then let’s all do it.” Maybe all the hungry folks in the US can do the same and solve the hunger crises in America.
